Wedding Celebrants in Italy and married for twenty years!  We were already living together on paradise island, Sardinia.  When we moved to Florence we said, who doesn’t want to get married in Tuscany?!  So we invited close family and friends and celebrated for two days.  Our guests are still talking about our Italian wedding day!  Who knew we would go on to become Italian wedding officiants in Italy …

ABOUT US

Bonnie Marie

I am an ordained wedding officiant from California working in the Italian wedding industry for umpteen years (!).  All of our wedding ceremony scripts are customized, I am the official script writer for the both of us.  We collect feedback from our calls and from a questionnaire we send you – each ceremony is a unique love story that I write for you personally.  You get full access to samples from real wedding ceremonies in Italy, plus we give you inspirational material about special rituals such as the unity candle, sharing salt, and the popular wine box ritual.  For more spiritual couples I am happy to conduct interfaith ceremonies or add readings and wording with religious meaning. I speak fluent English and Italian and have performed many ceremonies in both languages.

Luca

As an authentic Italian from Rome, I am proud when couples choose my country to celebrate one of the most important days in their life.  As a symbolic wedding officiant for many years, each ceremony in Italy is very special to me.  I love meeting couples online for the first time so that they can hear my pizza English, lol! I recommend how the ceremony area should be set up in terms of p.a. system, where readers should stand, etc.  based on my experience. Any special rituals such as handfasting, unity candle, salt ceremonies, and any other cultural rituals dear to you I am happy to perform.

Giving back to our community

We have been puppy raisers for the past 15 years for the National Guide Dog for the Blind Training School in Florence.  When we were assigned our golden retriever Googie, they told us she had been selected as a breeder.  As a result, we were responsible for taking care of any puppies she would have for the first 60 days after birth – a puppy bonanza every time!  Googie had 3 litters and 15 pups, of which some became guide dogs while others provide pet therapy at the Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence and at the Florence Center for Autistic Children.
